BGP Litigation partner Alexander Vaneev speaks with Kommersant FM about the use of the proceeds of the sale of Sergey Pugachev's Lower Venn Farm in the context of the costs of the Mezhprombank bankruptcy

"The money might only cover the court costs, says Alexander Vaneev, partner at BGP Litigation: "More than 90% of the creditors' claims are held by the Deposit Insurance Agency. Practically all of the money raised from the sale will go towards satisfying the claims of the Deposit Insurance Agency. Given the high costs of the Mezhprombank bankruptcy, the money will probably not make it to the creditors, but instead will be used to pay the costs associated with the bankruptcy"".
