BGP Litigation launches 2017 StudUp trainee program on Lawyer's Career Day at the Higher School of Economics

BGP Litigation continues to participate in career development events at leading law schools. The first such event of 2017 was Lawyer's Career Day at the Higher School of Economics, held at the faculty of law on 6-7 March.

At the event BGP Litigation took part in a poster session, met with keen interest by the students, and presented the firm's updated trainee program, "StudUp". Outlining the program to the students, BGP Litigation human resources director Elina Sobakar explained what the firm looks for in potential trainees and a trainee's main tasks, and also discussed a few examples of matters BGP Litigation has worked on. The firm's HR director also took questions from the students and presented an internal career development timeline.

A highlight of Elina Sobakar's presentation was a short corporate video featuring current employees of the firm, following which the viewers were given a task, namely a case from the firm's previous practice for them to decide themselves. Completing the task is a prerequisite to applying for a traineeship.

BGP Litigation will soon be taking part in career days at the law faculty of Kutafin Moscow State Law University (7 April) and Moscow State University (11 April).
